When you see “Access Denied”
Sometimes, after signing in, you may open a link or menu item and land on an Access Denied page instead of the feature.
What it means
Your account is signed in, but your role does not include permission for that module (for example Reports, Categories, or Orders). The app blocks only that area—it is not a bug in your password.
What you should do
- Confirm you intended to open that feature (bookmark or shared link).
- Ask your store or system administrator to grant the right role or permission for that area.
- Use Back or the sidebar to go to a page you are allowed to use (often Dashboard or Help & Support).
What you should not do
- Repeatedly reset your password—that will not add menu access.
- Share another user’s login—each person should have their own account for auditing and security.
If your administrator says your access is fixed but the page still blocks you, try signing out, closing the browser tab, and signing in again so permissions can refresh.
