Permission (access matrix)

Menu: Security → Permission

Decide what each role may do in the admin: which menus appear and whether staff can only read or also create, change, or delete records.


Before you change anything

  1. Pick the role (or scope control) at the top — exact labels match your live screen.
  2. Use refresh if you need to reload the latest permissions from the server.

How to grant or remove access

  1. Expand a module row (for example Items, Orders, Reports).
  2. Inside it you see actions such as View, Create, Update, Delete — wording may match your business language.
  3. Tick or untick each box.
  4. Click save (often a disk icon). Wait for a success message. If you leave without saving, changes are lost.

Tips

  • Expand only the modules you need — long lists are easier in small steps.
  • If save is disabled, you may lack permission to edit roles, or nothing changed.

Permissions

Editing the permission matrix itself is usually limited to super admin or security roles.
