Settings
The Settings sidebar section groups operational configuration: shortcuts, units, payments, loyalty, messaging, hardware, and layout tools.
Quick Actions
Menu path: Quick Actions
Configure shortcut actions available on POS or admin (favorites, fast navigation—depends on setup). Name and order actions so busy shifts stay efficient.
Quantity Units
Menu path: Quantity Units
Define units (each, kg, box) used when selling or stocking items. Items and recipes reference these units; keep names short and consistent.
Payment Methods
Menu path: Payment Methods
Enable and label payment types (cash, card, wallet, house account). Order and visibility affect checkout buttons on POS and sometimes reports grouping.
Loyalty Settings
Menu path: Loyalty Settings
Turn loyalty on/off, set earn and burn rules, and thresholds. Changes can affect existing member balances—coordinate with marketing before major rule changes.
SMS Event Settings
Menu path: SMS Event Settings
Choose which events trigger SMS (order ready, marketing, birthday—per checkboxes). Ensure templates and compliance (opt-in) match your region’s rules.
Cloud Printing
Menu path: Cloud Printing
Link printers or print services in the cloud so tickets print at the right station. Follow pairing or API key steps on the page; test with a small test print.
Terminals
Menu path: Terminals
Register card terminals or POS devices to locations. Required for integrated payments; use device IDs exactly as the hardware vendor provides.
Tags
Menu path: Tags
General-purpose tags (not the same as Item Tags under Master Data—compare sidebar labels). Often used for customers, orders, or internal classification depending on your configuration.
Same topic — full steps & every field: Tags — steps & every field.
Table Planner
Menu path: Table Planner
See Table Reservation Management — physical table layout editor for reservations.
Tips
- After changing payment or terminal settings, run a small live transaction on a quiet period.
- SMS and loyalty changes should be announced to staff so they explain new behavior to guests.
