Tax Rates

Create individual tax rates (percentage or fixed—per your form): name, value, jurisdiction or label, and whether the rate is active. These are the building blocks applied to sales.

Tax Groups

Menu path: Tax Groups

Bundle one or more tax rates into a group (for example “Standard GST” combining components). Items and locations usually reference a group so updates to rates can be centralized.

• Changing tax rules can affect open orders and reporting; coordinate with finance before editing live rates.
• After edits, verify a test sale or quote shows the expected tax lines on POS or online checkout.
